Engineered for Manufacturability.

TCS's dedicated, full-service internal engineering staff plans every part in AutoCAD and Mastercam® before it ever reaches the shop floor — so tool paths, sequences and material choices are proven for efficiency and accuracy before the first chip is cut.

How It Works

From concept to cut metal.

TCS's engineers utilize AutoCAD and Mastercam® software to simulate tool paths and sequences for optimum efficiency and accuracy, before the first chip is cut.

01

Concept

Part requirements, tolerances and manufacturing constraints are defined together with the customer.

02

CAD

The component is designed and modeled in AutoCAD.

03

CAM

Tool paths and machining sequences are programmed in Mastercam®.

04

Simulation

Tool paths and sequences are simulated for optimum efficiency and accuracy before the first chip is cut.

05

Production

The proven program runs across TCS's integrated manufacturing floor.

Design Optimization

Manufacturability, built into the design.

TCS's engineering team specializes in creating products optimally designed to meet the cost and manufacturing constraints outlined by the customer.

Rather than treating engineering and production as separate steps, TCS's internal engineering staff works the design against the realities of the shop floor from the start — so the part that gets modeled is a part that can actually be built to spec, on schedule, at the target cost.

Tool-Path Optimization & Simulation

Proven in software, before it's proven in metal.

TCS's Engineering staff utilizes AutoCAD and Mastercam® software to simulate tool paths and sequences for optimum efficiency and accuracy, before the first chip is cut.

AutoCAD is used to model the component; Mastercam® is used to program and simulate the machining strategy that will produce it. Running that simulation ahead of time catches inefficiencies and errors on screen, not on the machine — protecting both accuracy and cycle time once the job goes into production.

Complex-Part Development

Full-service expertise for complex products.

TCS has a dedicated, full-service, internal engineering staff with complex product expertise.

That expertise pairs directly with TCS's more than 32 integrated manufacturing processes — engineers can plan a complex, multi-operation part knowing exactly which processes are available in-house to build it, across the industries TCS serves in applications from agriculture to energy.

Value Engineering

Value-engineered solutions, delivered efficiently.

TCS's engineers help you deliver value-engineered solutions to market rapidly, cost-effectively and with outstanding quality.

That work extends beyond the drawing: TCS can help in the sourcing, testing and qualifying of materials and components for your specific application — one more way engineering removes risk and cost from a program before it reaches production.
