Recreation
Products for use in the recreation industry include drive and propeller shafts for marine engines, axle shafts and steering components for ATVs and motorcycles, and various components for snowmobiles and personal watercraft.
Built for harsh, high-vibration environments.
Powersports and marine components operate under conditions most industrial parts never see — constant vibration, shock loading, saltwater or moisture exposure, and wide temperature swings, often at high rotational speeds.
Shafts and steering components in these applications need tight dimensional control and material properties matched to the environment, since failure in the field isn't just a warranty issue — it affects safety on the water or the trail.
Shafts and steering components, engineered for the elements.
TCS produces drive and propeller shafts for marine engines, axle shafts and steering components for ATVs and motorcycles, and has produced various components for use in snowmobiles and personal watercraft.
With more than 32 manufacturing processes fully integrated in-house — including heat treating and HVOF thermal spray coating alongside CNC machining — TCS can carry a recreation component from raw material through hardening, coating, and finish machining in one Rock Valley facility.

Simulated before the first chip is cut.
TCS's internal engineering staff uses AutoCAD and Mastercam® to simulate tool paths and sequences for optimum efficiency and accuracy before machining begins, and can help source, test, and qualify materials suited to marine and powersports operating conditions.
That value-engineered approach helps bring recreation components to market rapidly, cost-effectively, and with outstanding quality.
